Our May program will be a presentation by Marita Collins, a cooking instructor, cookbook author and founder of the Traveling Gourmet cooking school. Since the publication in 1997 of her cookbook, The Light Body, Marita has given cooking demonstrations all over the country, including one at the North American Vegetarian Society Summerfest in 1998. On Sunday, May 16, Marita will give a brief lecture and a cooking demo, followed by a food sampling. Copies of The Light Body will be available at a special sale price and, of course, Marita will be on hand to sign them. The following are recipes from The Light Body.
