Saute the onion and pepper in the water. While it's cooking, crumble the tofu into a bowl. Use a fork, or a potato masher, to crumble it up. Add the soy sauce to the tofu, and mix it in. Add the tofu mixture to the cooking peppers and onions, and continue cooking for about 5 minutes or so, until the tofu starts to brown. Stir in the tomato sauce and the chili powder. Spoon onto bread to make sandwiches. |
